NYSTEA is working to make education reform a united effort and to include all technology education teachers in the process. When we say, “NYSTEA is committed to ensuring that all middle-level students have the opportunity to study technology education”, we want to say that NYSTEA represents you.
If you are not a current member of NYSTEA, please join today. As a member, you will receive the NYS Technology Teacher journal, and access to content specific quality professional development, new curriculum materials, grant funding, and a network of professionals from education, business, and industry. You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that a small part of your $45 annual membership fee has helped support NYSTEA efforts to maintain middle-level mandates and to prepare for the upcoming SED high-school reform initiative.
If you would like more information about NYSTEA membership or if you are interested in joining our efforts, please contact me at AJLatNYSTEA@westelcom.com.
