Student Surveys Extended to June 10 submitted by Alta Jo Longware on 05/27/2005
Please help spread the word that NYSTEA will continue conducting both a Middle-level and a High School Technology Education Student Survey through June 10, 2005. The data from the surveys is the key to strengthening the position of Technology education at the State level during upcoming high school reform efforts. Data from the middle level survey conducted in January of 2004 provided valuable information which was used to help preserve middle-level Technology mandates.

Be sure to let your students know which survey they should complete. The surveys will take less than 10 minutes but it is one of the greatest contributions any instructor can provide for their own cause and for the cause of Technology education overall. It doesn't cost a penny but the results will be "priceless" as ultimate sources of support for technology programs at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

If your school internet filter blocks access to the survey, or if you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Charles Goodwin at cgnystea@stny.rr.com.

Thank you for your support in this effort.

Sincerely,

AJ Longware
NYSTEA President 2004-05
