NYSTSA Conference Results April 7 & 8, 2006 |

The
25th Annual NYS TSA Conference was held at SUNY Oswego and was
hosted by the Department of Technology and the Oswego Technology Education
Association with eight school districts from across NY State participating.
There were 117 middle and high school students who competed in some or all of
the 37 activities. In addition, 138 Pre-service Technology Teacher Candidates
from SUNY Oswego and SUNY College at Buffalo assisted throughout the
conference.
This
yearŐs conference featured two new events, namely: Technological Systems and
Systems Control Technology. This year, the New York State Energy Research
Development Authority again sponsored a number of the events that used energy
and the environment as their theme.
At
the conclusion of the conference, the 2005/2006 NYS TSA Student Officers ran
the election of new officers for the next school year and also coordinated the
awards presentations for successful individual and team winners. The list of
