After removing the paddle blades from the mold you can separate them using the band saw.
DSC00183.JPG
Set the guard to just clear the high spots on the laminated blades. Keep the flat side of the blades down against the band saw table.

Separate each of the parts.
DSC00174.JPG
Carefully cut out each blade LEAVING 3/8" - 1/2" OF THE FLAT FLANGE ALL THE WAY AROUND THE BLADE.
DSC00184.JPG
Leave a flat flange all the way around the blade.
DSC00185.JPG
Cut the curved end off of each blade.
DSC00188.JPG
Cover a bench with newspapers. You will need a damp sponge, paper clamps, and polyurethane glue.
DSC00190.JPG
Moisten the inside of the 1/2" wide flat flange all the way around the perimeter of each blade.
DSC00191.JPG
Make sure the flange is damp.
DSC00193.JPG
Spread a SMALL bead of glue on the flange OF ONLY ONE BLADE. Polyurethate glue will expand to 3 or 4 times it's original volume! You will need less than half the amount of glue that you think you will need!
DSC00194.JPG
Spread the glue out to completely cover the flange.
DSC00195.JPG
Make sure the glue is spread evenly.

Assemble the two blades. You can align each half using a few paper clamps.
DSC00186.JPG
The clamps should be butted up against the first ridge of both pieces. Check both sides to be sure the two halves are alligned precisely.
DSC00198.JPG
Check in several places around the blades to be sure that both halves are alligned correctly.
DSC00199.JPG
Place clamps all around the perimeter of the blade.
DSC00201.JPG
Clamp both blades. Leave the clamps on for a few hours.

Place the cap back on the bottle of polyurethane glue.
