The Battery Eater, an 8th-12th Grade Electronics Project Presented by Zachary Carrico with Mike Sogoian A simple transistor based LED blinker project, which could be scaled for use at multiple grade levels, the hand-wound transformer is controlled by a transistor allowing a "dead" battery to flash two LEDs for many weeks.
