Combined Heat, Power, and Algebra - Energy Efficiency and Math Presented by Jean Hallagan with Patrick Witmer and Linda Day and Heather Garcia and Sean O'Leary and Matt Whaley and Ashley Wheeler This presentation will explain the concept of combined heat and power, followed with problems suitable to the algebraic classroom. Current mathematics standards call for students to make connections with mathematics in authentic contexts. The lesson integrates current concepts in global energy efficiency with the mathematics classroom. Program Time: Friday 1:30 - 2:30 This presentation will be repeated Friday 2:45 - 3:45 |
